2. أمل أذنك إلى المسكين، وأجبه برفق ووداعة. يشوع بن سيراخ 4: 8
2. Bow down thy ear cheerfully to the poor, and pay what thou owest, and answer him peaceable words with mildness. Ecclesiasticus 4: 8

9. أيها الإخوة، إن انسبق إنسان فأخذ في زلة ما، فأصلحوا أنتم الروحانيين مثل هذا بروح الوداعة، ناظرا إلى نفسك لئلا تجرب أنت أيضا. غلاطية 6: 1
9. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Galatians 6: 1
10. أطلب إليكم، أنا الأسير في الرب: أن تسلكوا كما يحق للدعوة التي دعيتم بها. بكل تواضع، ووداعة، وبطول أناة، محتملين بعضكم بعضا في المحبة. مجتهدين أن تحفظوا وحدانية الروح برباط السلام. جسد واحد، وروح واحد، كما دعيتم أيضا في رجاء دعوتكم الواحد. رب واحد، إيمان واحد، معمودية واحدة، إله وآب واحد للكل، الذي على الكل وبالكل وفي كلكم. أفسس 4: 1-6
10. therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
11. فالبسوا كمختاري الله القديسين المحبوبين أحشاء رأفات، ولطفا، وتواضعا، ووداعة، وطول أناة، محتملين بعضكم بعضا، ومسامحين بعضكم بعضا إن كان لأحد على أحد شكوى. كما غفر لكم المسيح هكذا أنتم أيضا. كولوسي 3: 12، 13
11. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Colossians 3: 12,13
12. عبد الرب لا يجب أن يخاصم، بل يكون مترفقا بالجميع، صالحا للتعليم، صبورا على المشقات، مؤدبا بالوداعة المقاومين، عسى أن يعطيهم الله توبة لمعرفة الحق، فيستفيقوا من فخ إبليس إذ قد اقتنصهم لإرادته. 2 تيموثاوس 2: 24-26

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2 Timothy 2: 24-26

15. مستعدين دائما لمجاوبة كل من يسألكم عن سبب الرجاء الذي فيكم، بوداعة وخوف. 1 بطرس 3: 15

18. بل اختار الله جهال العالم ليخزي الحكماء واختار الله ضعفاء العالم ليخزي الأقوياء واختار الله أدنياء العالم والمزدرى وغير الموجود ليبطل الموجود لكي لا يفتخر كل ذي جسد أمامه. 1 كورنثوس 1: 27, 28, 29
18. But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. 1 Corinthians 1:27-29
19. وكلامي وكرازتي لم يكونا بكلام الحكمة الإنسانية المقنع بل ببرهان الروح والقوة. 1 كورنثوس 2: 4
19. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 1 Corinthians 2:4
20. لأن المسيح لم يرسلني لأعمد بل لأبشر – لا بحكمة كلام لئلا يتعطل صليب المسيح. 1 كورنثوس 1: 17
20. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1 Corinthians 1:17
