How to Overcome Fear, Depression, and Extreme Sadness

In life, there is pain, loss, disease, loneliness, and death.  We have no right to claim a long life while it is out of our reach, because life is not always in our hands, it belongs to the Creator and He is the one who gave it to us and we have a duty to preserve it and learn to live it in a healthy, successful and happy way. What is something that makes you sad today?

1. Briefly Describe Your Situation and Problem

Get a piece of paper and a pen and try to answer the following questions:

  • What is your exact situation?
  • What is the problem?
  • Where is the center of the problem?

 2. Meditate on Your Emotions

What are your feelings now? Fear, anger, addiction, desire, or sadness? Which feeling is the strongest? Where is this feeling located in your body?

3. Watch your thoughts

What thoughts are associated with your feelings? Why are you sad, worried, angry, or overwhelmed with the problems and worries of life?
• Calm down all your troublesome thoughts and try to control them: My thoughts are mine…! Repeat this constantly.

 4. Think of triggers

What is the source of your problem? Is its source related to one thing or a group of different things?

5. Think of different solutions

What is the way out of your problem? What attracts you to love, excitement, success, luck, and contentment? Think about your problem until you find a solution to it, and strengthen your faith and love for God.

6. Go behind your positive thoughts

Create a plan for your positive life. Avoid dwelling on sad and meaningless thoughts. Don’t leave your dreams for others to fulfill them for you.

What positive responsibility do you have now? “My affirmative decision is…! Put it in front of you without hesitation!”

  • Direct your inclinations and thoughts to positive things.

Write down your special diary every day. Write down three things that were good, or three things you are grateful for (even the little things!) After a week, you will begin to see that each day has something special for you and great value.

  • Spend 15 minutes each day writing about the best possible outcomes for your life. What do you want your life to be like if all your hopes, plans, and dreams can come true? Keep working on this picture, writing more and more good diaries until you reach a clear picture and a clean, uncluttered mind free of all negative thoughts.

7. Choose your own personal path for your life

The sensation in life is to live a good life. Rather, you should be happy and joyful instead of depressed and sad. Focus closely on your skills, your situation in general, and the world around you. Then you know what you need to do.

This is a way for everyone to be happy and live constantly embracing love. In everyone’s life, there is pain, loss, illness, loneliness, and death. We have no claim to a long life and it is still out of reach because life is not always in our hands, it belongs to its creator and he is the one who gave it to us.

8. Turn your anger against things you can do something about without being destructive.

If you’re a heavyweight, turn your anger against your stomach. If you are afraid, turn your anger against your fears. If others are disrespectful and disgusting, turn your anger towards the ignorance that is the root of their ugliness and immorality.

If you are an addict, turn your anger against the harmful substances you are taking that give you temporary joy but bring you long-term misery. If you are in the midst of a rigid and reactionary society, turn your anger against backwardness and reaction.

Advice

As a result, some research showed that happiness is 50% genetic, 10% is decided by external circumstances, and 40% consists of private thoughts. People who live in a sound and healthy way, focus, and act on their thoughts (positive thinking), can raise their level of happiness by 40 percent. Inspiration and enlightenment (a life of meditation and stillness) is the process that raises your happiness level from 100-500 percent.

But that’s a long way to go for most people. However, I seek enlightenment, inspiration, positive thinking, meditation, and prayer. These things are very helpful.

  • Inner happiness is laying a harmonious course of truth, wisdom, and love.
  • Meditate, think, and go deep into silence. This means the silence that is deep within you, where you will find your “I”, which is responsible for the meaning and value of your life. That you have lost touch with your inner stillness. Lose your sense of life and pursue things that have meaning and value just to bridge that gap.
  • Go out for a walk and focus on nature.
  • Remember that happiness is the meaning and purpose of life. Don’t delay your joy. There is no better time than now to enjoy it. Nobody and nothing can make you feel bad without your permission.
