Peace Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, help me to see all aspects of good and teach me to love people as you have loved me – the Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Lord, Help Me to See the Good Side

Oh Lord, do not forget me, for I am sad. Shine on me with your light, shower me with your mercy, judge for me, and avenge my wrongdoing. Deliver me from grievances, because you are my comfort.

Do not be far from me, lest I walk distressed and persecuted by my enemy, and send your light and justice to guide me to you. And make me feel your satisfaction on me before death so that I can go on with myself confident. Grant me, O Lord, a portion in the land of the living, and shine upon me with your light your face that will be with us.

Lord, help me to speak the truth in the face of the strong, and help me not to say falsehood to win the applause of the weak. O Lord, if you give me money, protect me from its evil, and if you give me strength, give me a shining light for my mind. And if you give me success, give me humility with it.

Lord, help me to see all the good aspects. And don’t let me accuse my opponents of evil because they are not of my opinion. Oh Lord, teach me to love people as you loved me. He taught me to hold myself accountable without condemning people. Lord, do not let me become arrogant if I succeed.

Nor would I despair if I failed. Lord, teach me that forgiveness is the highest level of strength. And that the love of revenge is the first manifestation of weakness. Lord, if you strip me of money, leave me faith. And if you strip me of success, leave me hope. And if you strip me of the blessing of health, leave me the blessing of consolation.

Lord, if I offended people, give me the courage to apologize. And if people offend me, give me the courage to forgive. Lord, if I forget you, do not forget me. Amen.

Individual Prayer

Lord, I believe in You and Your Power, I believe in Your Oneness, I believe in Your Power, and I believe in Your forgiveness. O Lord, my eyes have seen evil under the sun and in broad daylight, many of your children still deny you and deny your salvation.

The miserable is still begging for rubbish and no one to feed them. Some of your sons still want usury at their whim. The rich are still getting richer, and he doesn’t know that in his pocket is unjust money that he does not have, but a part of this money for your home and your little brothers. The people of the Lord of peace and the master of safety are still looking for peace outside your ability, and they beg the people and the powerful.

The houses that were dedicated to your name to be worshiped are still almost empty, and many people do not know that it is the mountain of God and the place where His holiness dwells. Brothers are still quarreling and enemies and they do not hesitate to stand as adversaries before the civil courts over trifles.

Lord Listen to Us

Lord, what happened in this world? Prisoner of time out of time? The world is moving backward. I have been surrounded by dark clouds of pessimism about this life and I see your mercy rising from this world little by little.

O Lord, do you not listen to us, or do we raise impure hands to you, so that you turn your face away from us? Yes, I remember the psalmist when he cried (Behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins, my mother gave birth to me), but I remember that Your mercy preceded Your wrath, and I remembered the blood of Your only Son standing between us and Your wrath, so I raise my hands confidently, and I dare to shout and call out to you. Do not find anything to say in front of you.

And I remembered that I need your Holy Spirit to put words on my tongue and my miserable heart to cry out, Lord, have mercy on you in this turbulent, turbulent world in the fiery furnace of Satan. Have mercy on your children who hope for your name and hope for your mercy. Do not depart from us, so we burn in our sins and die in our sins.

Save, O Lord, your people

O, my Lord and my God, I see you around me at all times. Do not despise me in the hope of your mercy, for it is the pinnacle of what I hope for until my death. Reform the temporal and spiritual leaders. First establish Your peace in the hearts of those who fear You, and make believers in You light in the darkness of this world.

Lord, remember your mercies, they are from the beginning, and do not forget how much your beloved son prayed for us when he was incarnate and lived among us and was like us in everything except sin. You are there to hear the supplication of those calling towards the throne of your sanctuary.

I bless your honor and say, O Lord, save your people and bless your inheritance and grant your peace to us, glory be to you in your height. All glory forever, Amen.
